MAY NEWS
Are You Trustworthy?
Did you know that Susan B. Anthony proudly promotes the District’s character education program, Character Counts? Character Counts sends a powerful message to all students and staff, reminding them to demonstrate good character in all they do. There are six “pillars” of character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship (think”T.R.R.F.C.C.” or “terrific” to help you remember). In May, we are celebrating the character trait, Trustworthiness. One way you can participate is by bing a person that can be trustd by others and by wearing something blue each Friday to show your “true blue” character! ~Mrs. Sousa

What do you think? If your answer is yes, you are correct! Our avid readers read close to 2,000 books, and collected 1,193.6 AR points. Wow! congratulations Challengers!! Students were very excited and kept track of their reading in a giant display of The Cat in the Hat, posted on the back of the stage of the cafeteria.
